There are two common reasons:

1. Information Mismatch: If the Last Name and Server ID Number you provided don't exactly match what's on record with the ABC
2. Renewal Timing: If you're attempting to renew your certification before you're in your 90-day renewal window

For information mismatches, verify your details on the Portal en línea de ABC and update them in the form above.

For renewal timing issues, check your “Renewal Date” in the Portal en línea de ABC - you can only complete training within 90 days of this date.

To verify your information:

1. Log in to your account on the ABC's online portal
2. Click "Dashboard"
3. Find your Apellido (at the top)
4. Find your Número de Identificación de Mesero (in the Server Certificate Details section)

Below is an example of what you should see.

Once you have this information, enter it in the form above and click submit. If successful, you'll receive a confirmation message. Then return to the ABC's online portal to take your final exam.

If you submitted your information and received a ”server verification failed” message, then the Last Name and Server ID Number you entered still don’t match what the ABC has on record for you.

Please review your information again closely and try resubmitting it. Remember, the Last Name and Server ID Number you enter need to coincidir exactamente the Last Name and Server ID Number on record with the ABC.

Here are a couple of troubleshooting suggestions:

Server ID Number confusion:

• Your Server ID is a nine-digit number that starts with "313"
• Don't confuse it with Application ID, Training Program ID, or Tracking ID which also start with "313"

Last Name issues:

• Double-check for exact matches in capitalization, hyphens, and spacing
• If you have multiple last names, make sure you're entering them exactly as registered with the ABC
• Remember to include any suffix (Jr., Sr., etc.) if you included it with the ABC

If you continue to receive the “server verification failed” message after carefully checking your information, please Contacto and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.

If you receive this message when trying to resubmit your training information, it means you already have an active RBS certification with the ABC and are attempting to complete training outside your renewal window.

Important details about renewal eligibility:

• The ABC only allows renewal within 90 days before your certification expiration date
• The ABC requires you to take the final exam within 30 días of completing your training
• The ABC will send you email notifications when you enter your renewal window

To verify your certification status and renewal date:

1. Log in to your account on the ABC's online portal
2. Check your "Renewal Date" in the Server Certificate Details section

What happens if you've already completed training but got this error?

• If you're within 30 days of your renewal eligibility date*: Your completed training should still be valid when you enter your renewal window. Simply return to this form on your renewal eligibility date to resubmit your information.
• If you're more than 30 days from your renewal eligibility date*: Unfortunately, the ABC requires that you complete training within 30 days of taking the final exam. You'll need to retake the training after you enter your 90-day renewal window. Please Contacto and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you with resetting your training course.

*Note: Your renewal eligibility date is when your renewal window begins. You are going to have to do your own calculation to find this date. To do this, subtract 90 days from your “Renewal Date” which is listed in the Server Certificate Details section of your Dashboard. You should also receive an email from the ABC when you are eligible for renewal.

Congratulations! If you received a confirmation message, you should now have access to your final exam on the ABC's online portal.

About the final exam:

• 50 randomly generated questions
• Score 70% or higher to pass (at least 35 correct answers)
• Open-book test with no time limit
• You can leave and return to the exam as needed (if you run into a tricky question, just head back to our course and look for the answer)
